Since 2013, WillowTree Custom Homes has been building distinctive custom homes across North Texas, with a team grounded in construction experience, engineering expertise, thoughtful partnership, and a belief that how you build matters just as much as what you build.
Then and now
Before WillowTree was a custom home builder, it was a code word between friends.
Travis Franks and Jody Alumbaugh met in fifth grade and eventually played high school baseball together in Keller. A willow tree beyond the outfield became shorthand among their friends for post-game get-togethers at Jody’s family home.
The name stuck long after high school.
Their lives eventually took them down different paths, with Travis building a career in construction and Jody becoming a professional engineer. Years later, they took a chance on building something together.
In 2013, they signed the papers for WillowTree Custom Homes.
