The neighborhood was platted on one-acre lots decades ago, so the oaks are tall, the setbacks are deep, and the neighbors are settled. Lake Wood Estates gives you that setting with a new home on it: room for a pool and outdoor living, a detached shop or guest quarters, and a level of privacy newer subdivisions cannot offer. There is no HOA.
Southlake Town Square’s shopping, dining, and events like Art in the Square are a walk away, and the homesites are zoned to Carroll ISD: Walnut Grove Elementary, Durham Intermediate, Carroll Middle, and Carroll High School.
