Building for a Cause: The St. Jude Dream Home Showplace at Carillon Parc

Most of the homes we build start with a family.

This one started with a mission.

In 2026, WillowTree Custom Homes was one of five builders invited to take part in the St. Jude Dream Home Showplace in Carillon Parc, a new kind of fundraising effort for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital right here in Southlake. Our home at 1812 Riviera Lane was designed, built, and furnished to raise money and awareness for kids fighting cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Here is what the Showplace is, why it matters, and how you can see the home for yourself.

What Is the St. Jude Dream Home Showplace?

Many people are familiar with the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, where a builder donates a home and tickets are sold for a chance to win it. The Showplace is an extension of that program with a different structure.

Instead of one giveaway home, five custom builders each built a home on Riviera Lane in Carillon Parc. The homes were opened for public tours in March 2026 and then made available for sale. The builders committed to raising one million dollars together by inviting their trade partners, vendors, suppliers, and the surrounding community to donate.

The Dallas-Fort Worth builders participating alongside WillowTree were Atwood Custom Homes, Beckett Graham, Heritage Homes, and Kensington Custom Homes.

You can learn more about the program on the St. Jude Dream Home Showplace page.

The Cause Behind the Home

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food, so they can focus on helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent when the hospital opened in 1962 to more than 80 percent today. And because St. Jude freely shares its discoveries, every child saved there means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more.

That is the cause behind every nail, tile, and light fixture in this home.

Why WillowTree Said Yes

WillowTree was founded in Southlake, and Carillon Parc is a community we know well. When the opportunity came to build a home in our own backyard that would directly support St. Jude families, the answer was easy.

What made it meaningful was watching how many people wanted to be part of it. Trade partners donated time and materials. Vendors and suppliers stepped up. Friends, neighbors, and clients shared the story and gave. A custom home is always built in partnership, and this one showed what that partnership can do when it is pointed at something bigger than a single house.

A Closer Look at 1812 Riviera Lane

The WillowTree Showplace home sits on Riviera Lane in Carillon Parc, Southlake’s European-inspired village community with its mix of homes, parks, and walkable town center.

The home offers 4,781 square feet with four bedrooms, four full baths, and a powder bath. Interiors were designed by Semmelmann Interiors, whose team brought the layered, livable style the home was known for during its tours.

Because this was a Showplace home, every space was designed to be experienced. Visitors walked through a home that was fully finished and furnished, from the kitchen and living areas to the bedrooms and outdoor living space, so they could see firsthand the level of craftsmanship and detail that goes into a WillowTree home.

A Community Effort

Thousands of people from across Dallas-Fort Worth toured the Showplace homes over four weekends in March. Every visit, every share, and every donation added to the total raised for St. Jude.

We are grateful to the design and trade partners who gave their time and talent, to St. Jude and ALSAC for the invitation to participate, and to everyone who walked through the doors of 1812 Riviera Lane.

How You Can Still Help

The tours have wrapped, but the mission continues. If you would like to support St. Jude, you can give directly through the St. Jude Dream Home Showplace page.
